Save Girl Child

Readers I want to ask you, what is your life without a girl? Do you think world will be a complete place to live in without a woman. Do you think girl child has no right to live and breathe in this environment? Guys here I am talking about today's most disturbing problem "Female Foeticide". What is this female foeticide? A female foeticide is a ill practice in which a pregnant woman is undergone a ultra sound test which determines the sex of the child, and if its a girl child, she is aborted. It is a plague which is hindering the existence of woman in our country.

Today I saw a very amazing show called "Satyamev Jayte" which inspired me and compelled me to write upon this topic, hosted by our very own Aamir Khan. It is a show to discuss and explore the major problem going on in our country. After watching the show, I was left speechless, I really had no words to describe my sentiments. At one place I felt so proud of being a part of country where women are warriors. No matter what happens to her she will always protect her child, and do every needful for her child ,even if she has to do it all by herself. And at another place I felt ashamed of being a part of a country, where girls are not valued at all, even if she is a new born or a teenager or a mother. Where the so called life saver are life taker, "The Doctor". And the government which does nothing for the protection of girls.

People blinded by craze of having a boy child has been a reason for massacre of a girl child on a large scale. And the statistic they had shown was extra-ordinarily shocking. I couldn't believe my ears. From past 30 years girl sex ratios is going down and at present day its like 973 girls of 1000 boys. It may be a small value at 1000 but if it goes to lakhs and crores the sex ratio of a girl drops tremendously, which I don't think is good at all. And many more depressing facts were revealed in the show. I am posting a video of the episode so that you can actually see and hear the cries of the mothers and also know the heart-breaking facts behind female foeticide.

A child, a teen, a wife, a mother, So many crucial roles are played a women. But have we ever thought about the suffering of a woman behind these roles. A girl comes fighting in this world for her existence and keeps on fighting all her life. From being a child, here mere existence is in danger because of this ill practice, and if she manages to come into this world, she has a hard time proving herself. When she is a teen, she works hard to place herself in this world of so called men and also she goes through diseases like eve-tease and molestation by men. And when she becomes a wife she has to take care of her husband and his family, gulping down all the abuse by her husband and his family. And just because she bears don't ever think she doesn't  strength to fight or defend herself, just because she doesn't wants her relations to be shattered. She is brave than any man can ever be. And when she is a mother she bears so much pain to bring her ultimate happiness into this world, her child. Then also she takes care of her family and her child. So much is done by a women I feel small in front of a women.

Today, in 21st century woman have spread wings almost everywhere from being a doctor or CA to the president of a country. It isn't old times when women were meant to be ill-literate and do house hold. They have proved their worth in this country. So I request people to grow up and they deserve to be considered as equal as men, they deserve our respect. And above all please stop killing girl child. They are innocent and its not their fault that they didn't fulfill your expectations.

STOP KILLING GIRL CHILD!!!!

From bottom of my heart, I respect the females members of our society and sakshaat pranam to every mom out their. I respect you for your bravery, moreover for your sacrifices and moreover for being "a women"......
